Yada Yada Yada

"Dear Lord, thank you for dieing on the cross for us and taking away our sins, Amen"
The words of Preston, a 12 year old boy, praying for the juice in the Lord's Supper at church today.  I loved that prayer.  It struck a chord in me.  I think because it was so simple and right to the point.  I think a lot of times we come to our King and ramble and use flowery words, yada yada yada.  I think us big grown up peoples like to hear ourselves talk.  God still listens of course, but I find there's something so simple and childlike to just say exactly what you're trying to.

Dear Jesus, thank you for dieing on the cross for me, and taking away my sin, Amen.
