Why Does This Blog Exsist?

Hello and welcome to my blog.
So why does this blog exist? For one reason and one reason only: To glorify the Lord Jesus Christ who took the penalty for my sin and has made me as righteous as He in the sight of God. I think that is pretty awesome so I do everything I can for Him.

That is the big picture, and the narrower picture is for me to encourage and enable Christian girls to live radical gospel centered lives and balancing the sword and the rose (more on that in another post). If you are older than a teenager and/or you are a guy, you can read too, just realize most of the material here is for us ladies.

Here is a list of things NOT to expect from this blog
-a place to talk about about boys, nail polish, and the latest fashions
-a diary entry of my life (though I may on occasion let you know what I am up to and how the Lord is working in me)
-daily blog posts (I may post weekly)
-a place to feel good about yourself by hearing a candy-coated, watered down version of Jesus and the Christian life

Here is what TO expect
-to hear the Gospel often
-to learn along with me how to embrace biblical femininity
-to learn along with me how to at the same time live an adventurous, radical life for God
-to learn some tid bits about home making, and homesteading
