Sword, what is the nature of your blade?
Are you a tool for peace or a weapon of war?
Justice for guilty or doom for the helpless?
Do you shine with truth or drip with gore?
Are you for honor? Justice? Bloodshed?
Piercing? Defending? Glory?
A thing of still confidence or mankind’s dread?
Are you beautiful? Terrible?
Shining or dark?
On your own, you are ‘naught but steel and wood
‘Tis the heat of the man who wields you that makes you
An object for evil or for good

I find the idea interesting. a sword is not evil in and of itself and neither is it good. It is just an instrument to be used however a man (or woman) wields it.
Alot of things can be symbolized as a sword. Your words for instance, they are not good or evil by themselves, they are just words. Who speaks them and how they are spoken can determine between piercing and healing.
There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise promotes health. Proverbs 12:18
Don't have anything deeply theological to say. Just things to mull over.
;)
